Pink’s “Beautiful Trauma” Tour Graces Atlanta!

Written By | Hunter Gilmore

Rock-pop songstress Pink made her triumphant return to Atlanta this past Saturday April 21. We know Pink for hits such as “There You Go,” “Raise Your Glass,” and “What About Us” but it’s her intense and aerial inspired performances that keep us coming back for more! If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that Pink does not disappoint when it comes to incorporating extreme physicality during her performances. Her raspy vocals, edgy demeanor, and strong stage presence all contribute to her super stardom.

One of Pink’s most career changing moments was when she collaborated with Mya, Beyoncè, Lil’ Kim, and Christina Aguilera. She was a co-vocalist on the “Lady Marmalade” from the Moulin Rouge! soundtrack. The world renowned singer has also sold 16 million albums and about 45 million digital songs in the United States alone according to Nielson Music.

Pink has been a fan favorite for nearly two decades now and only manages to get better with time. Her debut album Can’t Take Me Home in 2000 catapulted her into becoming a bonafide pop star. The last time Pink went on tour was in 2013 with “The Truth About Love” tour which wowed numerous audiences alike. This performance was certainly no different.

This current tour entitled “Beautiful Trauma” kicked off March 1. Of course she came with all of the right tricks as she normally does. Her incredible stage production–impressive acrobats, plethora of musicians and backup dancers, and her swinging from a giant pink candelabra made the night memorable. She’s definitely giving Cirque Du Soleil a run for their money with this one!

She’ll have to keep the energy up because this tour will take her around the U.S. and Australia with tour dates running all the way through the fall. Check out http://whataboutus.pinkspage.com for more information on tour dates near you!
