Atlanta return to Chicago for second time this season
ATLANTA – The Atlanta Dream return to the road Wednesday, June 27 for a mid-afternoon meeting at the Chicago Sky beginning at 12 pm ET. The game at Wintrust Arena will be streamed on WNBA League Pass.
The Dream (7-6) return to action after a thrilling 75-70 come-from-behind win over the Connecticut Sun last Friday in Atlanta. Angel McCoughtry, who was named the WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week yesterday, finished with a team-high 25 points.
The Sky (4-9) are coming off a 97-88 victory of Phoenix Sunday. Courtney Vandersloot led Chicago with 14 points and 12 assists. Atlanta and the Sky met earlier this season in Chicago, with the Dream coming out on top, 81-63.
After this road trip, which includes stops in Minnesota and Indiana, the Dream will have traveled over 9,225 miles between June 6 and July 2.
The Atlanta Dream plays its home games in McCamish Pavilion on the Georgia Tech campus. Atlanta has qualified for the playoffs seven times, winning conference titles in 2013, 2011 and 2010.
