DENVER, CO October 05, 2018 – California legend and Top Dawg Entertainment signee Jay Rock hit the stage in Denver October 5th, bringing the house down to a sold out crowd at Cervantes’ Other Side.

Jay Rock recently dropped his third studio album labeled ‘Redemption’ and is widely known for being a hip-hop staple for the last few years. Originally scheduled to take place at Marquis Theatre in Denver, the show was relocated to Cervantes Other Side due to high demand. Even after moving to a larger venue, the performance sold out over a month ahead of time, showing just how much Denver fans wanted to see Jay Rock.

Opening up the night was Denver local TheyCallHimAP, who prepared his hometown crowd for the TDE takeover that was about to ensue by performing songs off of his newest project, 3 A.M and multiple singles. Next up was Reason, who signed to Top Dawg in August after appearing on the Black Panther soundtrack earlier in the year. The California bred rapper played hits off of his debut project ‘There You Have It’, and brought fans to their feet and howling for more. Judging by crowd reaction and response, it would not be surprising that Reason is at the top of the game in a few short years.

Finally, Jay Rock came out to the chants of a sold out Denver crowd. He effortlessly flowed through song after song, giving fans everything from ‘Kings Dead’ off his newest project ‘Redemption’, to classic hits like ‘Money Trees’ and ‘I Just Wanna Party’. Standing in front of a huge, neon illuminated ‘Redemption’ sign, Jay Rock showed Denver how Top Dawg gets down and reminded everyone why he’s been an unstoppable force in the hip-hop game all these years. From front to back, heads were bobbing and arms were bouncing up and down to every last song. Needless to say, Denver clearly will always show massive love to Jay Rock and the whole TDE family. Come back soon Jay!
