ALEJANDRO SANTAMARÍA & ANDRÉS CEPEDA SURPRISE FANS WITH “SI TE VAS”

Singer-songwriter ALEJANDRO SANTAMARÍA joins forces with ANDRÉS CEPEDA, one of the biggest pop stars from Latin America, to present “SI TE VAS”; a song full of love and nostalgia; the most common feelings associated with the breakdown of a relationship.

“SI TE VAS” is a song inspired by the final stretch of a love story; that point at which you say goodbye to that person who no longer feels like your partner, but for whom you still have many feelings for.

For ALEJANDRO SANTAMARÍA, collaborating on this track with ANDRÉS CEPEDA means alot to him because he has followed and admired his career for many years. “SI TE VAS” comes to life with the combination of CEPEDA’s voice and experience, along with the musical stylings and sound offered by SANTAMARÍA.

“A few years ago, I was going through a very nostalgic period and then this song emerged, which has become one of the most important songs for me. It’s one of the first songs I wrote, it was even my first time composing in a group session. I am very happy that everything has aligned and I am now able to unveil it now with Andrés Cepeda” – Alejandro Santamaría

“SI TE VAS” was written by SANTAMARÍA and CEPEDA, along with Alejandro González; produced by Nicolás González, Pablo Benito and Juan Pablo Isaza (singer from the renowned band MORAT).

The official video tells the story of a love that begins during childhood, between two kids who promise to be friends forever. Many years later, they find themselves in a bar where they recognize each other and regardless of the passage of time they realize that the magic is still alive, however, life has led them down different paths. The video was filmed in Medellín and directed by Paloma Valencia from 36 grados.
