ÁLVARO DÍAZ UNVEILS NEW TRACK “SUPRA 94TRO”

Fashion forward Puerto Rican rapper Álvaro Díaz, is set to close 2022 with new single “SUPRA 94TRO” and the last show of his successful debut US headliner tour in Orlando, FL. The reggaeton track produced by Oceanvi, Jota Rosa and Caleb Calloway, is part of forthcoming album ‘Sayonara’ set to be released next year via Universal Music Latino and under the management of NEON16 and Top Floor Talent. 

“What’s cool about the track is that it allowed me to continue to experiment with new sounds. I’ve been doing music for 10 years and this is the first reggeaton track I drop with no features. In the video, I’m wearing my signature look which I’ve been rocking on my US tour inspired by some of my favorite films such as Blade, Matrix and Fight Club. I’m excited about this record and my upcoming album,” explains Díaz. 

“SUPRA 94TRO” comes with visuals directed by Juanchi Gonzalez and shot in Orlando, FL exemplifying why Díaz is considered a creative genius and continues to garner praise for his innovative style by his peers, fans and critics alike. The opening scene shows a sleepy Álvaro who seems to be bored with life when suddenly he finds himself in a situationship with an alien lady who takes him on a journey in a ’94 Supra. The theme of the video is a continuation of the narrative that Díaz seems to always fall for the wrong girl.

2022 solidified Díaz as one of the most exciting and promising global artists amongst the new wave of Latin urban artists making music on their own terms. Last week Pandora revealed the Artists to Watch in 2023: The Pandora Ten which included Díaz as one of the artists who will make great strides in 2023. He was the only Latin artist to be included on the list!

From walking the runway at Tommy Hilfiger’s New York Fashion Week show to selling out his debut arena show in Mexico and most of his US Tour to releasing critically acclaimed singles, Díaz is well on his way to have a fruitful 2023. He will be making his debut at Lollapallooza Argentina and Chile in March of 2023 in addition to releasing more music from his highly anticipated album ‘Sayonara.’
