CALI Y EL DANDEE PARTNERED WITH CHARLY BLACK TO RELEASE “JUEGA”, THE OFFICIAL ANTHEM OF 2021 CONCACAF GOLD CUP
After a difficult year for both the world and sports fans alike, it is time to celebrate and cheer on our beloved teams as they play to win the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup! Fans will be singing “Juega,” the official song of the games performed by Latin pop sensations, Cali y El Dandee and Charly Black. Like the fans, this anthem is all heart and passion! It’s powerful lyrics in both English and Spanish, coupled with urban beats and sprinkled with reggae sounds transcend one country and captures the collective essence of a region.
“We were honored when Concacaf approached us to write this song and as soccer fanáticos ourselves, we know we are some of the most passionate fans in sports. We created this anthem as a way to reignite that passion and inspire fans to “get back in the game” both in life and on the field!” said Cali Y El Dandee.

The song is part of Concacaf’s effort to engage fans in authentic and innovative ways as the organization celebrates its 60th anniversary. The 2021 Gold Cup is the biggest ever with 24 men’s national teams participating. “Hosting the Gold Cup goes beyond the games – it’s a celebration of the vibrant cultures and rich history unique to our region. This song is an invitation for the world to join us in celebrating the collective passion the fans have for the game,” Concacaf Chief Commercial Officer Heidi Pellerano said. “Our future is bright, and that infectious energy is beautifully captured in “Juega.”” |

The organization’s fan focused strategy also includes a new Gold Cup brand and visual identity, launched at the competition’s official draw in August last year. The highly coveted 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup competition, in its 16th edition, will be played in 11 stadiums across the US, it started on July 2nd at South Florida’s DRV PNK Stadium and is set to end on Sunday August 1st at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Audiences worldwide will be able to watch the games through Fox Sports, Univision, OneSoccer, Televisa, and Futbol de Primera. The world will be watching and rooting for their favorite teams.
