Public Relations Intern

The PR division of IMPRINT and Communications, is continuously seeking bright, outgoing and motivated individuals for our internship program. The position requires 20 hours per week; schedules are flexible, especially for those still in school. While the position is unpaid, interns are compensated for any expenses they incur while at work.

 

VALUE-DRIVEN RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct market research
  • Write press releases, pitches, website copy, newsletters, bios and calendar listings for our clients
  • Assist in planning, executing and attending client events
  • Compile and maintain a master list of editorial calendars
  • Clip press hits containing our clients in newspapers, magazines and online
  • Update and maintain client editorial recaps
  • Build and update media databases
  • Contribute to team brainstorming sessions
  • Attend client meetings and/or sit in on client conference calls
  • Attend photo shoots and TV tapings

REQUIREMENTS

Interns at IMPRINT must meet the following criteria:

  • College junior or senior majoring in public relations, marketing, journalism or other relevant field
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Great attitude, enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated
  • Strong writing skills; two writing samples must be provided
  • 20 hours per week during a semester’s time period
  •  This is an UNPAID internship.

Marketing Intern

Candidates should be highly self-motivated and prepared to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven team environment. Ideally, the candidate should be interested in obtaining a position in marketing upon graduation and will complete the internship having gained broad experience in several marketing disciplines.

VALUE-DRIVEN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with project briefs, proposals, job requests, etc.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as kicking off projects, organization and meeting and presentation preparation
  • Attending meetings and training sessions related to position
  • Assisting in the planning, creation and distribution of marketing materials
  • Tracking marketing campaign reports for a variety of clients
  • Working with Marketing Managers to develop client business reviews and planning strategies
  • Gaining exposure to IMPRINT including: Branding, Public Relations, Web Development and Print Production
  • Meeting 1:1 with supervisor weekly/bi-weekly
  • Managing a full project workload and effectively meeting deadlines
  • Completing a self-managed capstone project over the course of the internship and presenting final findings to entire marketing team

REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate student in the Atlanta area who is majoring in Marketing, Advertising or a related field
  •  This is an UNPAID internship.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous advertising/marketing experience or strong desire to learn
  • Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience (preferred); Adobe InDesign, a plus
  • 24-40 hours per week for a full semester

Graphic Design Intern

Candidates should be highly self-motivated and prepared to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven team environment. Ideally, the candidate should be interested in obtaining a position in design upon graduation and will complete the internship having gained broad experience in several marketing disciplines. In addition, the following attributes are encouraged:

  • Promising creative ability.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willingness to experiment, learn, and grow creatively.
  • Great at time management skills and ability to thrive in fast paced, quick turnaround,  deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to recognize and adapt to changing conditions, including redefining his or her responsibilities as appropriate.
  • A team player with a can do attitude, always willing to go above and beyond and give 110%
  • The right candidate must be able to work between 20-25 hours a week.

Do you consider yourself a creative storyteller with solid writing chops? IMPRINT is seeking a qualified copywriter intern who is a creative, organized and driven writer to assist our team.

Candidates should be highly self-motivated and prepared to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven team environment. Ideally, the candidate should be interested in obtaining a position in copywriting and/or content strategy upon graduation and will complete the internship having gained broad experience in several marketing disciplines. In addition, the following attributes are encouraged:
