daydream Masi Unveils New Euphoric Track “Can I Be The One?”

Marks the release of Akron, OH artist, daydream Masi latest track, “Can I Be The One” released via Interscope Records. True to his sound, Masi continues to showcase his soft yet impactful vocals on the glittering single. “If I’ve ever made a song for the girls this is the one” says Masi of the song. His smooth falsettos effortlessly glide over the sonic textures while he croons about the age old question “Can I Be The One?” Listen to the track HERE.

“Can I Be The One?” arrives after two recently released tracks including “Animal Style,” which showcased a funkier up-tempo style from the genre-blending singer and “Night Like This,” a guitar driven track about the peace his partner brings him amid the madness that can occur in a relationship. Both were featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday Playlists.

Last year the developing crossover singer, rapper and producer released his debut The Slow Rage Project. The 7-track EP garnered recognition from Complex, Hypebeast and led the newcomer to a headline spot on Fashionably Early’s “First Impression’s” showcase where he performed to a sold-out crowd at Brooklyn’s legendary venue, Baby’s All Right. Prior to his first release the inventive artist released his debut track, “Nightlife,” a hazy and hypnotic track built on tropically inspired production and shortly after, “Stardust,” which led Lyrical Lemonade to call him “one of [their] new favorites to listen to this year.”
