unnamed (31)

Tennessee troubadour Drew Holcomb announces Kitchen Covers: The Collection today with the release of The Avett Brothers’ “No Hard Feelings” cover via DSPs today – listen nowKitchen Covers: The Collection highlights the best of Holcomb’s wildly popular Kitchen Covers series and is set for a digital only release on August 14, 2020 with a three-volume vinyl set coming this fall. News of the release comes as Dragons LP single “Family,” hits the Top 10 on Shazam’s Discovery US Chart thanks to two national TV ad campaigns.

Kitchen Covers began in March as the country went into lockdown and Holcomb looked for ways to stay connected with fans as his Spring and Summer touring was cancelled in the wake of COVID-19. For 42 nights straight, Holcomb – joined by his wife Ellie Holcomb more often than not – played a cover for fans at 8pm CT before moving into a tri-weekly, and now weekly format. The covers range from friends of the Holcombs (like NEEDTOBREATHE and Ben Rector) to heroes (Willie Nelson, Otis Redding, Dolly Parton) to some fun surprises (Adele, Outkast, Beyoncé). Since the series’ inception, Kitchen Covers have been viewed over 5 million times across platforms and were featured on the cover of The Tennessean’s The Ticket section for its ingenuity. Check out Kitchen Covers each Wednesday at 8pm CT or watch past installments on Instagram.

Over the past several months, Kitchen Covers wasn’t the only thing keeping Holcomb busy as he continues to ride the success of the latest Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors full-length, Dragons. Album lead-off track “Family” landed synchs with both Discovery and Tyson this spring, driving Shazams and streams while its incredibly fun music video crossed a quarter of a million views. In May, Sweetens Cove Spirits Company announced its namesake bourbon made in partnership several investors, including Drew Holcomb, Peyton Manning, Andy Roddick, and others. Sweetens Cove Bourbon Whiskey serves as a love letter to Tennessee and sold out in its first limited run, but will be available through the southeast in the coming months.

Check out “No Hard Feelings” today and be sure to grab your Kitchen Covers Vol. III – the final installment of the vinyl series – before July 1. Kitchen Covers: The Collection is out August 14th. For the most up to date information, visit www.drewholcomb.com.
