Flipp Dinero is back with two new singles

Flipp Dinero has the range. The Brooklyn rapper blew up last year with “Leave Me Alone,” (peaking at #1 on Urban Radio), and he’s back with two new juxtaposing singles: “If I Tell You,” and “Not Too Many,” both produced by Tay Keith. “If I Tell You,” leans pop-rap, and it is the antithesis of “Leave Me Alone,” declaring loyalty for his love with an uber catchy hook sung in his signature rasp. Before you think he’s gone soft, “Not Too Many,” in his own words is, “for the streets.” The hazy banger shows how hungry Flipp is for success with hard-as-nails lyricism.

23 yo Brooklyn rapper Flipp Dinero’s list of cosigns is longer than a CVS receipt — Drake, Kim Kardashian, DJ Khaled, Odell Beckham Jr., to name a few. His breakout hit “Leave Me Alone,” is still bringing him success in 2019, celebrating his first #1 on the Urban Radio chart. While his list of accomplishments continues to grow, Flipp wants his fame to reflect more than his (chart-topping) hits, “I do not wish just to be someone who makes cool music. I want to be known as a man of character.”

Flipp Dinero was raised by Haitian parents who immigrated to the Brooklyn neighborhood of Canarsie that Flipp grew up in. His roots are important to him, telling Billboard, “Being Haitian is what shaped my morals. It made me who I am today. Also, it made me a passionate individual.” When Flipp started coming up as an artist it was the co-sign of fellow Brooklyn emcee Joey Bada$$ that started a domino effect of success. With only one project, The Guala Way, and a few singles out, Flipp signed to DJ Khaled’s We The Best Music, Cinematic Music Group, and Epic Records in 2018. There’s no doubt Flipp is gearing up to to make even bigger waves in 2019.
