Ghanaian American singer-songwriter Moliy, takes on the perfect woman empowerment anthem of the year teaming up with South African artist, Moonchild Sanelly – widely known for her major contribution to Beyonce’s ‘Black is King’ album. Introducing us to a preview of what’s to come on her highly anticipated upcoming EP Honey Doom set for release on October 19th, we’re excited to reveal the brand new single, “HARD”.

This smooth bop is infused with a beautiful collaboration of Hip Hop and Afrobeat sounds, while laced with baddie energy. Moliy starts the track by setting the tone and laying the lines out smoothly, allowing you to anticipate more. Adding to this, Moliy also explains that she’s hoping to open more doors for other women in music throughout her native country of Ghana. “They need to know there is no limit to what we can achieve, regardless of our background,” Moliy says. “I would love for all women to feel confident and empowered, even on the saddest and hardest of days.”
