GLORIA TREVI WILL BE AWARDED THE PREMIO COMPROMISO AT THE HEAT LATIN MUSIC AWARDS
Mexican superstar, Gloria Trevi, will be recognized with the Premio Compromiso (Commitment Award) during the sixth edition of the HEAT Latin Music Awards. The award ceremony will take place in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic this Thursday, July 1st and will be broadcasted live on @htvmusica and @losheat.tv in more than 32 countries.
Through her foundation Ana Dalai, Gloria Trevi supports underprivileged children in Mexico and the United States to contribute to their well-being and development. With this foundation, she helps inmates and children born in prisons obtain basic resources for survival. During natural disasters, it also supports the community, especially people facing economic hardship, not only with their basic needs, but also with essential resources for these families and their children. Undoubtedly, through Ana Dalai, Gloria Trevi has been able to help many families in need and the award she will receive recognizes her social commitment towards the community.
On the other hand, Trevi also supported communities affected by COVID-19 through her foundation Ana Dalai and her partnership with México Artesanal where she was able to provide jobs to more than 400 Mexican artisans by producing limited-edition face coverings, inspired by her career’s most emblematic songs. Gloria Trevi has also been a spokesperson against bullying, using her voice and music to bring social awareness and support to the LGBTQ+ community. During 2020, Gloria Trevi launched a partnership with the GLAAD organization.
