Jahvillani’s ‘Dirt To Bentley’ Debuts #1 on Apple Music All Genre Album Chart!

Jahvillani’s Dirt To Bentley debuted #1 on the Apple Music All Genre Album Chart in Jamaica on its release week.  Extending the run of notable chart placements, the album debuted at #14 on the US digital albums chart according to MRC sales data.

On the heels of release week, Dirt To Bentley was the topic of focus on the popular platform The Fix hosted by Naro, Ari and and Javi.  The trio shared their feedback to Jahvi’s debut album earning a 7.5 from Ari, a 7.8 from Javi and a 7.8 from Naro who added “I have never really been into Jahvillani but this album really impressed me.  He took chances that no other artist would take right now.”

 

The star recently, appeared alongside Intence on a joint interview on Apple Music with host Nadeska for her show of the same name.  Jahvillani talked about his album, the inclusion of crossover sounds and reactions from fans.  Listen to the full interview here:  apple.co/Nadeska.

Dirt to Bentley was featured on Audiomack’s ‘5 Albums You Need to Hear This Week’ and he will also be a featured artist on Apple Music.  The 13-track album was produced by collaborator Tevin “YGF” Richards (for YGF Records), Adrian “Mastermind” Martin Lawrence, Ridwaan Razak and Jahvillani.  The album explores topics such as life, women, money and success.

The lead single from the album, “Pro-Gress” was ranked at #1 on the Jamaica Trending Chart on YouTube when released.  The video has been viewed 647K times, and has more than 3.3K comments expressing appreciation for the songs content.

The follow-up single for which the album is named, “Dirt to Bentley,” features the smooth vocals of New York-based Dancehall star Kranium.  The two tell the story about their rise from humble beginnings (‘dirt’) to their successes (‘Bentley’).  The official music video for “Dirt To Bentley” was debuted on Jahvillani’s VEVO Channel.

In addition to music videos, Jahvillani has also shared an album visualizer which has been met with fan acclaim.  It has trended on YouTube in Jamaica and accumulated 11,000 ‘thumbs up’ emoji’s and more than 1,300 comments about the impressiveness of the project.
