JAWNY RELEASES VIDEO FOR NEW SONG STRAWBERRY CHAINSAW TODAY

Indie maverick JAWNY released his energetic new single “strawberry chainsaw” earlier this week and today he debuts the official music video. Directed by Spencer Ford, and filmed in Los Angeles, the raucous clip follows JAWNY during a day in the life with some of his cool, fit friends as they get into their routine shenanigans.

“strawberry chainsaw” is an exuberant mix of sun-kissed guitars and JAWNY’s warm rasp that’s meant to evoke both the pleasure and pain of romance. A breezy, lively slice of guitar-pop, the song encapsulates both the sweet and sinister sides of love. “strawberry chainsaw” is available now at all digital retailers HERE.

This new track and video are  the buoyant follow-up to the love-gone-sour thrasher “take it back,” featuring GRAMMY®- winning legend Beck, who contributed vocals and guitar. For now, “strawberry chainsaw” and the Beck-featuring “take it back” are JAWNY’s first releases of 2022, following last year’s The Story of Hugo EP, which served as the gut-punching prequel to JAWNY’s 2020 Interscope debut project For Abby. That 10-track conceptual mixtape features the singer-songwriter’s breakout hit “Honeypie,” which has since been certified gold domestically and diamond in Mexico with over 35 million views on YouTube and more than 700 million streams globally.
