Little Rock, Arkansas’ own Kari Faux shares the single “ME FIRST.” Originally premiering on COLORS and produced by Grammy Award winning artist Phoelix, 2forwOyNE and Park Ave, “ME FIRST” marks Kari’s first official offering of 2023. Coupled with the bouncy and infectious confidence anthem are the cheeky and meta visuals directed by Cam Robert portraying Kari on a music video set performing the song until she finds out the budget is cut and has to take the video into her own hands. Now residing in Houston and embracing her much-needed return to the South, “ME FIRST” marks a taste of what is to come from Kari later this year.

Speaking about the track, Kari says, “‘ME FIRST’ is an affirmation. It’s a reminder not to neglect your own needs in hopes of being liked or accepted. It’s really a self-love bop for the twerkers. Get into it!”

Additionally, Kari teamed up with producer, rapper, DJ and singer UNIIQU3 to add in some East Coast flavor for the Jersey Club remix of “ME FIRST,” also out today. Born Cherise Gary in New Jersey, UNIIQU3 has been spreading the Jersey Club sound across the globe from local DIY parties to Australia. Talking about her remix of “ME FIRST,” UNIIQU3 said, “I loved the lyrics of the song. I’m all about self confidence so it was cool flipping this into a club track.“
