LILY ROSE RELEASES ACOUSTIC “GREEN LIGHT” VIDEO
Groundbreaking new artist Lily Rose returns again this week with an acoustic performance of the catchy and playful song “Green Light,” available everywhere now. Rose continues to promote her single “Villain” ahead of its March 8 impact date at Country Radio.
The acoustic video premiered yesterday with a YouTube Rodeo livestream that allowed Lily to connect with fans to talk about “Green Light.”
“‘Green Light’ is the song I always wanted to write,” explains Rose. “It has an incredible energy on the track that translates on stage, while driving or singing along with your friends. It’s truly just a fun ‘let me love you’ kind of song with clever metaphors sprinkled throughout. I’m so glad it’s been connecting with fans and it was really fun to bring a new life to it through the acoustic video.”
“Green Light” is the second of two videos released back-to-back, showcasing Lily’s identifiable voice in an intimate acoustic setting. Last week Rose premiered “Better Than That” exclusively with PEOPLE who tapped her “quite the singer.”
On Monday, March 8, Rose will take her first single to Country Radio with the “downright infectious” (American Songwriter) hit “Villain.” The moody single that has been on a meteoric rise since its Dec. 2020 release has earned Rose early critical acclaim as a groundbreaker in the format, as a “promising new talent” (Billboard) with an “identity all her own” (American Songwriter).
