MACHINE GUN KELLY’S E.S.T. FEST 6 IS UNDERWAY

MGK

Day one of the 6th E.S.T. Fest, spearheaded by hip hop’s wild boy MGK (EST 19XX/Bad Boy/Interscope Records), went off without a hitch. Set in the middle of Butler, OH, the festival catered to over 7,000 music lovers and spanned the genres of hip hop, alternative and rock. Friday’s line-up (Aug 2nd) featured some of rap’s most exciting newcomers including Da Baby. MGK joined the multi-genre U.K. crooner, YUNGBLUD, to perform their blazing hit “I Think I’m Okay” and Naomi Wild hit the stage to perform “Glass House.” Uniting the divide, MGK proclaimed on stage that “E.S.T stands for Everyone Stands Together.” The surge of energy prompted chants from the crowd: “EST… WHAT THE FUCK.“ The night wrapped with a party under The Dome; a tented area where guests enjoyed the sounds of classic alternative hits. The event featured DJ-producer SlimXX.

Machine Gun Kelly will travel overseas to resume his Hotel Diablo Tour later this month in support of his recently released, duly titled album. He will embark on the North American Fall Tour with the Grammy award winning Young Thug this fall. The tour will kick off in Ontario on September 30 before wrapping in L.A. on November 18.
