Matt Ox continues to show his musical diversity with the new record and video “Dazed” (Motown).
“Dazed” follows “Beam Me Up” which is Ox’s first new solo work of the year and follows his 2018 full debut album “OX”—revisit here.
Most recently Ox posed for a Givenchy campaign, which you can peep here.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Ox started writing and creating at the age of six. Surrounded by the city’s thriving underground rap and punk scene, he eventually connected with the production crew Working On Dying (Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Yung Lean). Together, they quickly began sharing music and videos and a few months later at 12-years-old, Ox soared to fame with his viral music video for “Overwhelming.”
Since his meteoric rise, Ox has accumulated over 500 million streams and peaked at #32 on the Spotify charts this year, in addition to collaborating and performing with artists like Chief Keef, Key! and Valee. In 2019 he made his fashion runway debut for Enfants Riches Deprimes at Paris Fashion Week and is a Puma Brand Ambassador.
Now 15- years-old, Ox continues to hone his craft and indulge in new interests, which lately include British philosopher Alan Watts and ego death, while also attending high school online. His new album is forthcoming.
