NxxxxxS releases new album ‘Short Term Agreement’

Paris-based artist-producer NxxxxxS (pronounced “N-Five X-S”) has shared his new album Short Term Agreement via Mad Decent / Because Music. The project features the phonk-infused “HEAD! SHOT!”, a genre that NxxxxxS has helped spearhead into the masses (his tracks have been streamed over 70 million times across all DSPs), his gritty ode to UK drill, “Grub“, featuring London’s Jeshi, his exotic-infused jaunt “Slump” with Canadian rap-star Freddie Dredd and the celestial “Every Day Further From You Is A Better Day” with arthrn. The album has garnered support from the likes of Dazed, CLASH, HotNewHipHop, Variance Magazine, Benji B, and Jack Saunders.

The 19 tracks on Short Term Agreement serve as the foundation for NxxxxxS’ new identity, featuring a rich and diverse array of sounds thanks to the numerous guests involved: London rapper Jeshi – a new British rap phenomenon also freshly signed to Because Music, French rappers 8ruki & Bitsu, Canadian Freddie Dredd and American underground talents Pollari and Baby.com. Avoiding the pitfalls of a compilation-like producer album, NxxxxxS has once again carved out his own style from the modern hip-hop rule book. In other words, NxxxxxS’ constant evolution has brought us this much closer to solving the mystery that is his name.

NxxxxxS has also been making moves in the fashion world, having arranged the music for Chanel FW/22/23 with Sébastien Tellier, scored the latest adidas x IVY PARK campaign with Offset and Ice Spice, and has several Nike advertisements under his belt.
