President Biden Continues to Lower Costs for American Families Through LIHEAP
The Biden-Harris administration announced $3.7 billion through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) to lower energy bills for households in all 50 states, D.C., and territories. President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law provided $100 million annually to increase LIHEAP support for families and business across the country, and is one of the many programs helping to lower Americans’ costs – a key pillar of Bidenomics.
In addition to lowering costs, LIHEAP funds also cover high energy bills caused by natural disasters, provide funding for home energy equipment repairs to increase energy efficiency, and help ensure families can maintain safe and healthy indoor temperatures in their homes. Under President Biden’s leadership, we are investing in all communities and delivering for all Americans.
