Genies, a leader in the digital avatar space, partnered with Quality Control for ‘Control The Streets Volume 2 to bring their digital selves to life through their custom Genies. All 35+ artists will be announcing the album’s release through a single piece of social content that debuts each of their Genies. With this being the first album with over 35+ artists to ever be announced using digital avatars, Quality Control is able to bring together all of their talent to engage with each other under one announcement for the release – something that would be nearly impossible to coordinate in the real world.
Within six years, The Atlanta-based management company and record label has seen stratospheric success and has literally changed the culture. Still, the word most commonly used by Quality Control artists is definitely “family.” Operating as an independent, African-American owned label (partnered with Motown and Caroline distribution), Coach and P and a surprisingly small and dedicated staff have created a new blueprint for success at a time when the fans have the biggest voice in the industry.
