RHODES RELEASES NEW SINGLE ‘HOW I LOVE YOU’

Acclaimed artist RHODES has released new single ‘How I Love You’ (listen here), a passionate and honest track backed by a gentle guitar riff. RHODES releases ‘How I Love You’ off the back of supporting Christine and the Queens on a series of UK + Europe shows for their Paranoia Angels True Love tour.

Speaking about the track, RHODES says: “‘How I Love You’ was the first song I wrote for the album. It’s an expression of love and commitment. The world is a beautiful place but it’s also full of pain and when times become hard, it’s important to know that you have someone there who will always be by your side, loving you fully. There have been many times in my life where I’ve drifted away and become distant to those around me and as someone who struggles with my mental health, I’ve been immensely grateful to those who’ve kept me going. We all love in our own way, but it starts with openness and honesty.”

This summer’s releases of ‘Happy’ and ‘Sunlight’ saw the London-based singer enter a new musical era. RHODES also recently teamed up with English DJ duoCamelPhat on new song ‘For A Feeling’. Released last week, the song has already racked up over 22 million streams on Spotify alone.

Earlier this year, RHODES released his sophomore album Friends Like These via Nettwerk. Recorded during lockdown alongside producers Rich Cooperand Ash Workman (Christine and the Queens, MetronomyFriends Like These is a stunning collection of personal tracks, sharing tales of love, loss, friendship, and hope, told through RHODES’ charming vocals. Friends Like These marked RHODES’ first album release since his 2015 acclaimed debut Wishes (via Sony Music). The album included hit single Let It All Go, a duet with Birdy which has amassed over 219 million Spotify streams.

In April, RHODES’ released EP The Pool Sessions, a special selection of tracks from Friends Like These performed live at The Pool Studios in London.

RHODES has charmed audiences on various headline shows and tours, and opened for the likes of Sam Smith, London Grammar, Hozier and most recently Christine and the Queens. In February, the songwriter captivated crowds across the UK and Europe while on his highly anticipated headline tour, which concluded with an intimate show at EartH in Hackney, London.
