RICO NASTY RELEASES BEAUTIFULLY, CHAOTIC NEW SINGLE FILLED WITH HER MOST “INTRUSIVE” THOUGHTS

YT PEOPLE STOP SAYING N**** AT THE SHOWS

NOT SURE IF TAKIS AND ICECREAM ARE A GOOD COMBO BUT I TRUST RICO

SHE MADE ME FOLLOW HER TO THE GIRLS BATHROOM

Rico Nasty releases her latest single “Intrusive” available now on all DSPs HERE. The humorous, yet exposed, single sees Rico putting on her producer hat and assisting with the track’s lively production.  The accompanying visual is available for streaming via YouTube HERE. The track is a follow up to “Vaderz” ft. Bktherula released last month on 4/20 and can be streamed via YouTube HERE. Both videos were co-directed alongside Marco Alexander and conceptualized by Rico herself. The two singles will be featured on her very personal upcoming project. On this body of work, we see Rico taking full creative control creating a work of art that reflects her vulnerability and authenticity.

“Intrusive” was produced by Ben10k (He produced Vaderz as well) and Dane. The song is an interesting take on and response to how life, social media, people’s opinions, or even your own thoughts can be a lot sometimes – very intrusive even. “Vaderz (Feat. Bktherula)” marks Rico’s first new song of 2022 and follows last year’s “Money (Feat. Flo Milli),” available now at all DSPs and streaming services. Produced by legendary German electronic dance music DJ/producer Boys Noize (Frank Ocean, Skrillex, Snoop Dogg), the track is joined by an official music video streaming. “Money” – which sees Rico teaming with feisty Mobile, AL rapper Flo Milli – was met by ecstatic critical applause, with VIBE declaring, “Both ladies bring their bold attitudes to their verses declaring their desire for cash on their own terms.” “It’s got a big, bouncy beat with Miami bass 808s and chopped-up guitar riffs,” raved Stereogum. “On the hook, Rico adapts 2 Live Crew’s self-explanatory 1986 chant ‘We Want Some Pussy.’ On the verses, Rico and Flo Milli snarl hard and demand whatever’s in your pockets.” Over the next few weeks, we’ll see a series of song and video releases from Rico Nasty as she gears up to release her next project – a mixtape slated for release early Summer.

The DMV’s Sugar Trap Queen and certified Rockstar Rico Nasty recently performed at San Bernardino, CA’s The Smoker’s Club Fest (Saturday, April 30), Washington, DC’s Broccoli City Festival. The latter being a Homecoming performance to celebrate the star’s 25th birthday. Rico – who recently appeared alongside Avril Lavigne on the cover of Alternative Press’ “Modern Icons” issue – joined forces with Doja Cat at this last month’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival for an instantly iconic live performance of their classic 2019 collaboration, “Tia Tamera.” A busy international live schedule stacked with headline dates, top-billed festival sets and more will follow in the coming weeks and months, with highlights including the North American leg of Kehlani’s “Blue Water Road” tour, Chicago, IL’s Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash (June 17-19), London, UK’s Gopuff Delivers Wireless Festival (Friday, July 1), Stockholm, SW’s Lollapalooza Stockholm (Saturday, July 2), Hilvarenbeek, NL’s WOO HAH! x Rolling Loud (Sunday, July 3), Portimão, PT’s Rolling Loud Portugal (July 6-8), and Dour, BE’s Dour Festival (Friday, July 15).
