SORANA IS BACK WITH “KARAOKE”

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Sorana has officially shared her debut solo single, “Karaoke,” available now at all DSPs and streaming services. Produced by chart-topping, GRAMMY® Award-winner Ali Payami (The Weeknd, Taylor Swift), the emotionally charged track is joined by an official music video premiering today at YouTube.

“The story of my song ‘Karaoke’ starts with ‘He broke my heart,’”  says Sorana, “but instead of confronting him about why he cheated, I decided to go to a karaoke bar with my girlfriends on that Friday night, pick the most heartbreaking songs I could find in the playlist and sing my heart out pretending he was there to listen. Going to karaoke became a regular thing for me and as I used music for healing, I also found my courage as a performer, becoming the star of that karaoke bar. Those nights made me dream and inspired me to express my most vulnerable feelings through music.”

“Karoke” follows Sorana’s collaboration with superstar DJ/producer David Guetta, “redruM,” now boasting nearly 13M global streams. The track’s dark and twisted music video  – which sees Sorana haunting the halls of a Shining-style hotel with glowing blue braids, evoking her Sailor Moon obsession – has earned more than 3.5M views at Guetta’s official YouTube channel. “redruM’ was also joined by a pair of high-energy remixes by GRAMMY® Award-nominated, German producer/DJ Robin Schulz (streaming HERE) and UK artist/producer MistaJam (streaming HERE), the latter of which garnered more than 1.5M worldwide streams in its first week of release.
