TEZZEL LAUNCHES HIS DEBUT SINGLE, “QUATRO,” FEATURING FEID

Colombian producer Mateo Cano, otherwise known as Tezzel, has made a name for himself as a renowned producer in the world of Latin urban music, but this GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY nominee is now taking on a new venture all his own. Today, he formally launches his career as an artist with his very first single, “Quatro,” alongside rising superstar, longtime childhood friend and fellow Colombian singer-songwriter, Feid.

After an illustrious career working with some of the biggest names in the business, it was only natural and a matter of time before Tezzel launched himself as an artist. Inspired by the incredible collaborations he’s been a part of and the megahits he’s produced for stars like J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Maluma, Ozuna, Myke Towers, Anitta, Piso 21, he has his finger on the pulse of what people want to hear and what makes a song resonate with audiences everywhere.

For his debut as an artist, Tezzel wanted to partner with someone whose career he hugely respects, but also a friend, whom he trusted would bring something very special to the track and make it both rewarding and memorable. His close friendship with Feid goes back to their elementary school days, and as one of the hottest Latin artists at the moment (his most recent collaboration with Justin Quiles, “Porfa”, has become a worldwide sensation), he knew their collaboration would be epic, especially for his first debut single as well as his first release under Universal Music Latin Entertainment.

“Quatro” is a soft and sultry ‘perreito’, with a beat that is perfect to dance ‘pegaito’. The song is about that that feeling of knowing what you want, or more importantly who you want, but they’re not within your grasp yet. It’s the buildup of emotion and passion, desire and drive, and a song that’s electric for two people or even if you don’t have anyone to dance with. The song’s premiere is accompanied by the launch of the official video. Capturing the same seductive essence of the melody and its lyrics, the video is part fantasy part reality, tempting all the senses simultaneously.
