The 15 Year-Old Rapper Takes Over a Tasteful Cooking Show in this Clip for the Suinami Highlight

Just 15-years-old, the Bay Area’s Suigeneris gets by on his preternatural melodic ability and his sly sense of humor. Preparing a feast for the senses, Suigeneris shares “Cap 2 Much,” his latest video. Speckled with subdued guitars and ominous flute, “Cap 2 Much” is a thorough chronicling of Suie’s outlandish spending habits, memorably belting “used to be a hundred pounds ’til I put all that ice ice on my back.” In the video, Suie and featured artist Jasper invade a tasteful cooking show, interrupting the chef and dancing with their favorite ingredients. Suie and Jasper eventually shrink down to the size of their meals, as Suie rides a lobster like a horse. “Cap 2 Much” is the latest in a line of high quality videos from Suie’s recent mixtape Suinami, following the romantic Feel The Same,” the demonic video for “Selfish,” and the cheekily funny video for “Dancin.” 

Demonstrating the songwriting ability and precocious swag that endeared him to artists like Lil Skies and Landon Cube, Suigeneris’ new project Suinami earned more than 3.5 million streams in its first week of release. Kicking off with the outrageously confident “Frank Muller,” and its opening line “15, making six figures, are you ballin like this?”, Suinami is the ideal canvas for the young spitter to paint on, with instrumentals ranging from the hyperactive, piano-led beats of his home region to lurching trap to candy-coated SoundCloud-style backing tracks. The follow-up to The Cheat Code, Suie’s 2018 debut project, Suinami hosts the single “Lucifer,” which has over 1.3 million views on YouTube and 627k Spotify streams, and the project has earned over 9 million streams in total.
