THE BLAZE ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM ‘JUNGLE’ OUT MARCH 10TH

SPECIAL LIVE DATES INCLUDING LONDON 28TH MARCH 2023

French electronic duo The Blaze announce their second album ‘JUNGLE’, out March 10th on Animal63. The album news follows the release of the singles and videos “Dreamer” and “Eyes”, both of which will feature on the album.

Following the album release, the band will play a string of live shows across the globe, including a landmark London show on 28th March 2023 (relocated venue TBC) as well as Coachella and sold-out shows at Berlin’s Velodrom and Paris’ La Seine Musicale. For full tour dates, please see below. Tickets are available to purchase HERE.

JUNGLE is the phenomenal sophomore album from The Blaze, purveying their unmistakable brand of alternative electronica and knack for densely woven, emotive house. The 10 tracks exemplify the duo’s flair for bringing powerful emotions to the dancefloor alongside stunning self-directed naturalistic imagery with humanity at its core.

“After the release of our first album DANCEHALL, we spent 4 years playing live shows around the world and the experience marked us deeply. Since then, we write music thinking about sharing it live with you. We were willing to keep the introspective aspect our music carries, while keeping in mind that people also come to dance when they see us perform.”– The Blaze

In August 2022, The Blaze played a sensational set at All Points East to a packed-out tent on the Tame Impala headline day of the festival. The pair will their return to the UK with a date on 28th March, originally planned for O2 Academy Brixton with an alternate venue to be announced soon.

After an extensive world tour for their first album “Dancehall”, cousins Guillaume and Jonathan Alric have built a reputation as one of the most consummate and engaging electronic live acts, amassing a cult following for their unique and often thought provoking live set up.

The Blaze shot to fame in 2017 with debut EP “Territory”, praised not only for its forward thinking take on dance music, but also its visuals – ambiguous, slow-moving, naturalistic clips that featured immigrants and minorities in emotional gatherings. Described by The New York Times as “epic, rough-hewed emotional landscapes that surge and yearn”,2018’s debut album Dancehall further solidified the duo as much needed purveyors of optimistic and often uplifting electronic music.
