“Valentino” rapper 24KGoldn should be on your radar
18 year old 24kGoldn is a young hustler: when his parents wouldn’t cop him the retro Jordans he wanted he started flipping sneakers, a trade that helped him fund the designer clothes and sneaks he had an obsession for. He asserted his love of fashion before anything, “I don’t want no valentine, I just want Valentino,” he raps on the Black Mayo (Flipp Dinero, Lil Mosey) produced “Valentino.” He’s just announced Boutique, an EP in which every song is named after a luxury designer. If that’s not enough for a teenager? He’s currently an honor roll student on scholarship at USC, majoring in Business.
The San Francisco native started buzzing after the release of his debut single, “Ballin’ Like Shareef,” which led to a deal with RECORDS (a subsidiary of Columbia). With Boutique, which will be executive produced by D.A. Doman (Kodak Black’s “Zeze,” Tyga’s “Taste),” 24k looks to cement his spot in the rap game.
