AHADADREAM JOINS FORCES WITH CHAMPION & LOGAN ON NEW SINGLE “BIG BOY TRACKS”

Ahadadream has joined forces with Champion and breakout grime MC, Logan, on new single “Bad Boy Tracks” via Major Recordings/Warner Records. 

Tracing his early UK club influences in grime, UKG and UK funky, “Big Boy Tracks” captures Ahadadream at his most upfront and rowdy, joining forces with funky pioneer Champion and hotshot barrer, Logan, on a record purpose built for reloads in the dance. 

Much like some of the early output on Ahadadream’s More Time Records imprint, “Big Boy Tracks” is muscular, hyper-kinetic club music written with a distinctly UK accent. From the wonky, funky-adjacent basslines to the nimble drumwork and Logan’s dark, incendiary verses, it’s a track that pays homage to the sounds that helped define Ahad’s own early clubbing experiences in London and beyond.

“Seeing Champion DJ at the Butterz raves at Cable before it shut down was such a formative experience for me”, Ahadadream recalls, “..and hearing the rhythm of UK Funky definitely shaped the way I approach my productions. His early productions, such as ‘Lighter VIP’, will forever be a stone cold UK classic. Logan is one of my favourite MCs in Grime, with such a versatile flow that goes over any genre. He joined me for my all-night-long set at Phonox last year and since then, I’ve always wanted to do a tune together. “

“Big Boy Tracks” follows a busy 2024 for Ahadadream that saw him collaborate with Skrillex & Priya Ragu on the club-busting “TAKA” — a record that polled as one of Mixmag’s Best Tracks Of The Year and has racked up over 11M streams to date — as well as collaborating with Nikki Nair on “Read My Mind,” playing sold-out North America, Australia and Asia tours, and making debut festival appearances at Coachella and Lollapalooza.
