ANTHONY “TOP DAWG” TIFFITH ANNOUNCES 12TH ANNUAL TDE HOLIDAY CHARITY CONCERT AND COMMUNITY CELEBRATION; DECEMBER 18 & 19
Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), the renowned hip-hop record label founded by Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, will return to Nickerson Gardens in Watts, CA on December 18 and 19 for the 12th Annual TDE Holiday Charity Concert and Community Celebration. For more than a decade, the Watts-based tradition has brought together thousands of residents, fans, and families, reaffirming the label’s commitment to uplifting some of Los Angeles’ most marginalized and under-resourced communities.
This year’s concert will take place on Thursday, December 18th, followed by the community giveback and toy distribution day on Friday, December 19th. Presented by Top Dawg Love the Kids, a 501 3C incorporated in 2023, the annual celebration reflects TDE’s commitment to uplifting the communities that shaped its earliest years and continues to ground its mission today.
Last year’s event drew an extraordinary 10,000 attendees, distributed more than $750,000 worth of toys and clothing donations to families across the Watts community, along with charitable contributions by Wasserman, Live Nation, Amazon Music Rotation, Interscope Capitol Labels Group (ICL), RCA Records, The Los Angeles Rams, Converse, True Religion, Pro Club, The Shop Men’s Grooming, K-Swiss and more. TDE partnered with the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) Watts WorkSource Center to provide a job fair with organizations who offer employment on site, and are aligned with creating reentry pathways for ex-offenders. The turnout highlighted the strength of the community and the powerful impact of collective generosity, reaffirming the event as a cornerstone of the holiday season for Nickerson Gardens residents and supporters across the city.
The 12th annual concert will feature performances from TDE’s full roster, including SZA, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Doechii, Isaiah Rashad, SiR, Ray Vaughn, Ab-Soul, Zacari, and Kal Banx, along with special guests to be announced. Prior special guests have included Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Glorilla, Big Sean, A$AP Ferg and others. Those wanting to attend the charitable concert can gain entry by bringing unwrapped toys, new clothes/shoes, or other donations intended for residents of Nickerson Gardens. Over the years, the event has been featured on CBS, ABC, Billboard, Complex, Entertainment Tonight, VIBE, BET, FADER, and more, and last year’s TDE XMAS even rose to become one of the top trending news stories on X.
The Community Giveback will continue the tradition of providing a full day of complimentary programming for children, teens, and adults. Offerings will include toy distribution, raffles, youth sports activities, barbering services, holiday photo installations, a snow experience, and more, with all programming designed to bring joy and resources to residents during the holiday season. The day will also include on-site job opportunities in partnership with local organizations focused on reentry, workforce development, and economic mobility.
TDE’s annual holiday programming is made possible through the generosity of brand partners, philanthropic supporters, and community organizations.
