Indie rock group Breakup Shoes has released their dreamy new single “Copacetic”. A song about longing for change and daydreaming your way through reality, “Copacetic” will be featured on the band’s forthcoming album Standing Still. The record was produced by Charlie Brand (Miniature Tigers) and is set to be released on October 10th. To pre-order Standing Still, please visit: breakupshoes.com.

On the new single, vocalist/guitarist Nick Zawisa shares: “‘Copacetic’ is a song about wishful thinking. It’s about imagining a world where my partner and I can escape all of the things that are holding us back and finally feel like we have everything we need and it’s all gonna be okay. Which in today’s world, feels like something we could all use.”

He continues: “The song feels instantly nostalgic: dreamy synths, driving acoustic and bass, and twinkly guitar lines combine into something both familiar and novel. We tried to push our boundaries on this one and really explore new sounds while staying true to the sound we’ve crafted over the years.”

Breakup Shoes will be touring the West Coast this fall with Felly starting on October 23rd. Fans can catch the band live in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Salt Lake City, and more. For a full list of dates or to purchase tickets, please visit https://www.breakupshoes.com/tour.
