The concert felt like a celebration tailored for women, with deep friendships blossoming before my eyes. Some attendees, who arrived solo, quickly joined forces with others, forming connections as they bonded over the electrifying music. Each performer embraced a vibrant style, donning bright colors that made them stand out. The dancing was spontaneous and carefree, resonating with fans who love to groove to their favorite tunes in the comfort of their homes. The artists weren’t shy about expressing vulnerability, drawing the audience into their personal experiences with raw authenticity. The show also highlighted a palpable sense of mutual respect among the performers, with each one acknowledging the importance of their friendships. Notably, headliner Brooke Alexx’s mother was in the crowd, showing her unwavering support, while Rosemary Joaquin shared that her cousins had also come to watch her perform.

The evening kicked off with Karen Hardy, who opened the show with a clever joke about her name. As she warmed up the crowd, Karen also opened up about her struggles with mental health and reflected on the disappointments she faced in her twenties. In an intimate moment, she and British guitarist Elliot took a seat on a charming, blue bench and performed “Back to Myself,” a song that captured her journey to self-empowerment. Karen then invited fans to meet her at the merchandise table, creating an inclusive atmosphere where her supporters could connect with her personally.

Next up was Rosemary Joaquin, whose bubbly personality lit up the stage. She joked about how hot the stage was due to the lights, before playfully removing her blue tour shirt and signing it for a lucky fan. Her set started with the upbeat anthem “It Was Me,” a fun, cheeky track about spilling a secret in a group chat, which immediately had the crowd engaged and singing along. Rosemary also shared an intimate part of her journey, revealing her initial struggles with flirting with men before realizing her true attraction to women. She lightened the mood by sharing her favorite pickup lines from various cities on her tour, including a playful one aimed at her Tennessee audience: “You’re the only ten I see in Tennessee.” The crowd roared with laughter, appreciating her openness and humor.

Then, the atmosphere shifted as the room went quiet, only to be broken by the sudden, dramatic sound of a phone dialing. Enter Brooke Alexx, the headliner of the night, who took the stage in a bold pink outfit paired with red boots and wielding a star-shaped guitar. She kneeled on stage, holding a phone shaped like red lips to her ear, an artistic move that matched the dreamy vibe of her set. Brooke took a moment to reflect on her personal struggles, particularly her difficult relationship with her mother in the past. In a touching moment, she performed a song dedicated to her mother, channeling years of complicated feelings into her powerful performance.

Both Brooke Alexx and Rosemary Joaquin performed together, sharing the same drummer and guitarist, creating a unified sound that was both empowering and intimate. It was a night driven by female energy, with an all-female band creating an atmosphere of inclusivity and strength. As the show drew to a close, the performers took a bow together, their camaraderie evident as the crowd erupted into applause. The energy in the room was electric, leaving everyone in awe of the empowering, vulnerable, and celebratory spirit of the night. The concert was not just a performance but an emotional experience that drew fans closer to the music, the artists, and each other.
