FARRUKO DROPS POWERFUL BEHIND-THE-SCENES DOCUMENTARY ON LATEST EP, 167BPM
Global superstar Farruko has just released a captivating new documentary on his official YouTube channel, offering fans a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the making of his latest project, 167BPM – a collaborative EP alongside Venezuelan singer-songwriter Louis BPM.
Filmed entirely in Venezuela during an immersive month-long retreat and directed by Smalldy, the nearly hour-long film reveals Farruko’s deep creative process and cultural connection with Louis BPM, which shaped the authentic and genre-defying sound of 167BPM. From the vibrant streets of Caracas to the breathtaking natural wonders of Canaima, Uruyén, Galipán, and Salto Ángel – the world’s tallest waterfall – the documentary captures not only the music, but the soul of Venezuela.
Just days ahead of the release, Farruko debuted one of the project’s standout tracks, “OE OE,” live for the first time at the Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots game at Hard Rock Stadium. The high-energy anthem has also been selected as the official soundtrack for MLB’s Hispanic Heritage Month, further amplifying Farruko’s presence across both the sports and music worlds.

Produced entirely by longtime collaborator Ghetto, 167BPM is an eight-track sonic journey blending trap, reggae, merengue, and more – a fearless evolution in Farruko’s mission to push Latin music into new territory. 167BPM is both a personal and artistic breakthrough, merging two distinct voices into one unified and boundary-breaking sound.
Next up, Farruko is set to take the stage at this year’s Premios Juventud on Thursday, September 25, performing live from Panama. He’s also up for three nominations that night, continuing a standout year of artistic reinvention and recognition.
