Saleka Visited her home City of Philly and gave us an unforgettable performance

On Thursday June 22, 2023 Philadelphia had the absolute pleasure of seeing two up and coming stars put on an amazing show at the World Live Cafe in Central Philadelphia. First up, we had the incredible singer and bassist Tre.Charlz as the first line up performer. Tre started with slow, smooth songs then slowly transitioned into his more ramped up, energized songs to show his very powerful range of talent. Each song Tre played had immense amount of emotion and power.

It became very noticeable that Tre really cares about his audience and capturing their attention, which is exactly what he did. At one point he had the whole crowd engaged and sing along when he played a cover of “What You Won’t Do For Love” by Bobby Caldwell. Every note he played was done so beautifully, you couldn’t help but to nod your head and tap your feet.

He ended his set with a song he dedicated to a special woman in his life, at that point the whole room filled with emotion as he played some amazing notes. Guaranteeing everybody had momentarily thought about that one special person in their life. If you get the chance to see Tre, I strongly encourage you to go! I promise, he won’t disappoint.  

Next up but certainly not least, we had the amazing singer and songwriter Saleka hit the stage! Saleka not only captured her old audience members, but her new audience members as well. She has a very wide fan base here in Philadelphia but, don’t let that fool you. Her voice rangeled in many more fans that night. Saleka had a very beautiful message in each song she performed; anywhere from awareness for motivation, social justice reform, youth education, gaining resiliency after heartbreak or just the beauty and chaos of the wonders of the world.

Her R&B had beautiful, strong, soul that took every audience member by surprise with each passing note she hit. Just when you thought she had hit her highest note, she surprised you with another note that outdid the last. Saleka blew away each crowd member with every song she dare seronated us with. Ending the night with her hit “One More Night” the crowd exploded with applause and even some happy tears in the crowd. She is a powerhouse singer and can put on such the most beautiful R&B performance, be sure not to miss her next show…coming to a city near you!
