This week, multi-platinum chart-topping band AJR kicked off their first headlining arena run —The Maybe Man Tour — at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and continued with performances at Boston’s TD Garden, Hartford’s XL Center, and Baltimore’s CFG Bank Arena. The sold out arenas were treated to the trio’s signature captivating and thrilling performance over an epic 90-minute high energy set, consisting of hits from their fifth studio album, The Maybe Man, released via their own AJR Productions label and Mercury/Republic Records, as well as fan-favorite classics across their extensive discography.

Setlist highlights included “Inertia”, “Yes I’m a Mess”, “100 Bad Days”, “Bang!”, Tik Tok viral hits “World’s Smallest Violin” and “The Good Part,” and the live debuts of “I Won’t / Birthday Party”, “Turning Out / Turning Out Pt. ii / Turning Out Pt. iii”, and “God Is Really Real”, the heartfelt song about their father, Gary Metzger, who tragically passed away last year. Each song uniquely resonated in the hearts of the arena’s audience. View the full opening night setlist HERE.

The show features a state-of-the-art production that took the audience through multiple larger-than-life 3D optical illusions (watch HERE). In the middle of their incredible performance, the trio ventured to the top of the arena to perform “World’s Smallest Violin” and “Steve’s Going To London” in the crowd, delighting fans who sat in the top portion of the venue.

Their 49-date Live Nation promoted tour has sold over 400,000 tickets to date and continues through the spring and summer with stops at several legendary venues, including Austin’s Moody Center, Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and two nights at AJR’s hometown arena, Madison Square Garden. Full routing is available below.

As part of their ongoing touring sustainability commitments, $1 for every ticket sold will go towards Planet Reimagined, a non-profit organization co-founded by AJR’s Adam Met. The program trains the climate leaders of the future with customized programs for action-researchers from around the world, teaching them how to combine thought and advocacy for measurable impact to fight the climate crisis and deliver fair solutions for people and the planet. By attending any show on this tour, fans will join AJR in supporting young climate leaders from around the world.
