Chicago’s Woes Releases New Single + Visual “Kneecaps” Friday; New Project Out 10.25

Chicago artist Woes shows off his unorthodox style with the official release of “kneecaps” off the forthcoming project, “Pressing My Luck”, out (October 25).

In “kneecaps,” Woes layers his monotone rap vocals over an infectious beat, creating a melodic yet edgy soundscape. The accompanying music video shows Woes sitting in a shopping cart, doing donuts in a car, and rapping over a hypnotic spiral, highlighting the intentionality of the song’s hypnotizing production and his left-of-center style.

“kneecaps”  is the second single from Woes’ upcoming 11-track album ‘Pressing My Luck,’  out October 25. The album embodies Woes’ philosophy of learning from wrong decisions and even making the wrong move intentionally to dive into the unknown head first. With the release of “kneecaps”  and more new music and captivating visuals on the way, Woes is cementing himself as an artist to watch.
