DEF JAM’S LIAMANI STARS IN GAP’S “GIVE YOUR GIFT” HOLIDAY 24′ CAMPAIGN
The “Give Your Gift” campaign, shot and directed by Samuel Bradley, brings together a choir of voices that shows what can happen when you give your gift to the world. The group of singers, songwriters, instrumentalists, poets, and storytellers perform an a cappella version of Janet Jackson’s iconic hit “Together Again.” The cast includes beloved social media-native stars and some of the music industry’s rising talent:
- Liamani: The 16-year-old singer/actress with cascading vocals has a decade of music experience under her belt. The viral sensation now steps into the spotlight, recently signing her first record deal and releasing her debut single “Sunkissed.”
- Hana Effron: At 19 years old, Hana spreads positivity with her music through covers and original songs. She’s celebrating the launch of her first studio album Let’s Talk, a collection of original songs, with a second album in the works.
- Lamont Landers: Growing up to southern Americana soul music, Lamont is a self-taught singer known for his viral performances across social media and performing live at various venues.
- Nyjah Music & Zyah Rhythm: Born and raised in Hawaii, the brother duo known for their song covers have made their way to millions of Instagram feeds around the world, grabbing attention with soulful R&B and ballads, set to their unique sound on keyboard and guitar.
- Aneesa Strings: East Oakland native Aneesa is an all-encompassing artist and composer who has made a spot for herself in the jazz, pop, and R&B worlds with music direction, ideation, scoring, and performing.
- Paige Fish: Between writing, recording, and live shows, 18-year-old Paige racks up millions of views on TikTok by sharing original songs, thumb-stopping covers, and moving takes on the universal experiences of being a teenager.
- Amaria: Amaria is a self-taught artist who’s built a following for herself on social media. She just released her debut album Free Fallin’.
- PawPaw Rod: Since his 2020 debut track “HIT EM WHERE IT HURTS” topped viral charts on Spotify, he’s been touring and releasing new ’60s soul, funk, alternative R&B and indie pop music.
