ERIC NAM “HOW THE FIRE STARTED” NEW SINGLE + MUSIC VIDEO OUT NOW
Artist, actor, and television personality Eric Nam unveils the official music video for his highly anticipated new single, “How The Fire Started” released via The Orchard.
The cinematic, Western-themed visual brings the track’s fiery narrative of betrayal to life, placing Eric at the center of a rodeo standoff where sparks inevitably fly. The video is a nod to Eric’s recent turn on Peacock’s hit Emmy-winning competition series The Traitors Season 4, featuring cameos from his fellow finalists Rob Rausch and Maura Higgins, as well as castmates Natalie Anderson, Ron Funches, and YamYam Arocho. The video is an unexpected crossover and gift to the show’s dedicated fanbase, who continue to react to last week’s shocking finale.
Blending drama and swagger with Eric’s new sonic landscape, the visual marks the start of a bold new era for the multi-hyphenate artist, and a tongue-in-cheek wink and nod that both Eric and The Traitors fans won’t want to miss.
Eric released his last album House on a Hill in 2023 and then embarked on an expansive 70+ date world tour spanning North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific culminating in a special Los Angeles encore where he premiered the House on a Hill short film. House on a Hill followed his 2022 album, There and Back Again, which debuted at #3 on the US Spotify chart, #7 on the UK Spotify chart, and peaked at #22 on Billboard Top Album Sales, featuring hit singles “Lost On Me,” “Any Other Way” and “I Don’t Know You Anymore.”
Following a milestone period of global touring and over 1 billion cumulative streams to date, Eric is now ready for a new era with “How The Fire Started,” setting the tone for what promises to be his most exciting chapter yet.
