EUROVISION WINNER NEMO RETURNS WITH THEIR NEW SINGLE CASANOVA
Having been catapulted onto the international stage after winning Eurovision 2024 with the anthemic The Code, Nemo returns with their brand new single, Casanova. A flirty, synth pop track, with a throbbing beat, electrifying hook and euphoric chorus, Casanova offers a tantalizing glimpse into Nemo’s highly anticipated first studio album.
Nemo made history last May as the first non-binary artist to win Eurovision and following their scene stealing performance and the wave of attention that followed, the last twelve months have seen Nemo emerge as one of the most extraordinary and unique artists in global pop music.
“The Code” went platinum in Switzerland, Top 20 in 16 countries including the UK, picked up a gold record in Finland, and won a multi-award for a total of over 115 million streams worldwide. Nemo followed up with “Eurostar”, the party track that hit hard and now, just ahead of the 2025 Eurovision which will take place in Basel in May, Nemo introduces “Casanova,” a bold and playful anthem brimming with irresistible energy and charm.
Nemo has always questioned the status quo and sought new forms of creative self-expression. Identifying as non-binary, they actively advocate for non-binary rights bringing a spirit of confidence, joy, and individuality to both their music and the way they connect with the world. Like the new Saturday night anthem “Casanova”.
“I write about things that matter to me,” says Nemo. “Most of my drive comes from a desire to be understood and make concepts like gender identity, diversity and self-acceptance completely normal and natural. As a non-binary person who’s presented as more masculine for most of my life, I’ve often felt people‘s expectations of me to take the lead romantically—when I actually feel much more at home on the other side of that dynamic. Following stints in LA and Berlin, Nemo is currently working on their forthcoming as-yet-untitled studio album with renowned musicians and songwriters including Mia Gladstone, Liam Maye and Pom Pom (John Legend, Noah Cyrus, Suki Waterhouse) in London.
