Fattmack shares new video single “I Admit It”
Fresh off of being brought out by YoungBoy Never Broke Again at the Charlotte stop of the ongoing MASA Tour, buzzing Alabama rapper FattMack has just released his newest single, “I Admit It” — out now alongside an accompanying music video. “I Admit It” serves as another heartfelt anthem from the southern artist, combining his melodic, auto-tuned flows with his signature emotional inflection (“I admit it, I’m depressed / I tried everything I can to be OK but I’m still empty”). The accompanying music video mirrors the street realism reflected in his music, as FattMack performs the song around his neighborhood and visiting the strip club on a night out.
Preceded by recent singles “IRL” (2.5M+ Streams) and “2 Redbones” (feat. MGM Snipe), “I Admit It” is the latest release in an action-packed 2025 run for FattMack, following his co-sign from XXL for The Break, his August album Untreated Trauma — a seven-track deep dive into the distinct Southern sound he’s been curating, featuring appearances from G Herbo and TopOppGen, as well as April’s Here to Stay, his first full-length project of 2025, which is home to standout tracks like “Hit It” (feat. Lil Tony Official) [7M+ Streams] and “Fake Love” (feat. Raq baby & BAK Jay) [2M+ Streams].
Hailing from Mobile, Alabama, 19-year-old FattMack has been immersed in music since childhood, first stepping into the spotlight as a lead singer in his choir at just five years old. His journey as a solo artist began with the release of his debut album Rookie Of The Year in 2020, but it was a more profound set of life experiences that led to the creation of his 2023 project, Mr. Did It by Hisself, a 20-song album that began to attract a larger audience as FattMack openly drew inspiration from his personal experiences, channeling the ups and downs of everyday life into his music. His stage name is a nod to his transformative journey—once weighing around 300 pounds, he embraces his evolution both physically and artistically.
