GLOBAL SUPERSTAR ANITTA BRINGS BAILE FUNK EXPERIENCE TOUR TO LOS ANGELES WITH SOLD-OUT SHOW AT THE WILTERN

GRAMMY® Award-nominated international superstar Anitta brought the BAILE FUNK EXPERIENCE TOUR to Los Angeles with a sold-out show at The Wiltern. The tour officially kicked off this past weekend in Mexico City on May 18th at Salon LA and continues this Thursday in Miami with a show at The Fillmore. The 20+ date tour, produced by Live Nation, brings a unique funk experience to intimate venues around the world, giving fans an authentic taste of the iconic funk parties in Brazil. Following the North American leg, Anitta will bring the BAILE FUNK EXPERIENCE to South America and Europe including stops in Bogota, Buenos Aires, London, Paris, Ibiza and more. 

Last night’s show began with “Carta de Amor,” by Maria Bethânia before going into “Funk Rave,” off Anitta’s new album, Funk Generation, while a group of dancers performed capoeira moves in honor of Afro-Brazilian culture. The show also featured “Double Team,” “Grip”, “Cria de Favela,” “Lose Ya Breath,” and more off the new album, which was released April 26th via Republic Records/Universal Music Latin Entertainment. 

The high energy performance also included performances of “Envolver,” “Me Gusta,” “Boys Don’t Cry,” and more off Anitta’s 2022 album Versions of Me.

Anitta was also announced as the face of BODYARMOR Flash I.V., a rapid rehydration electrolyte drink that will proudly sponsor and hydrate the BAILE FUNK EXPERIENCE.
