HERENCIA DE PATRONES UNVEILS ITS ROMANTIC, VULNERABLE SIDE WITH NEW SINGLE “VERSOS DEL CORAZÓN”
Herencia de Patrones, one of the leading acts in the new Contemporary Mexican Music movement, releases “Versos del Corazón”, a romantic corrido celebrating the intensity of love and desire. The track is now available on all digital platforms.
The track, written by Jesús Diego Orejel, Raúl Valencia Jiménez, and Uziel Pantoja Delgado, and produced by César Ortiz alongside Uziel and Jesús, showcases the group in its most romantic and vulnerable light. Through passion-filled verses, the song weaves an intimate confession about overflowing love, desire, and the nostalgia for moments left behind, told from the perspective of a man deeply in love.
JayDee’s vocals and delivery shine throughout the track, capturing every emotion and inflection of the protagonist while conveying the deep longing and yearning for a physical reunion reflected in the lyrics.
“Versos del Corazón” draws inspiration from the story featured in “CLIKA,” a film produced by one of Mexican Music’s titans, Jimmy Humilde (founder of Rancho Humilde), in collaboration with Columbia Pictures and Sony Music.
The single arrives just over a month after the release of “Tony Montana,” the film’s main theme song—a powerful corrido that portrays ambition, power, and a success story through Scarface’s iconic line, “the world is yours.”
Starring Jesús Diego “JayDee,” lead vocalist and songwriter for Herencia de Patrones, “CLIKA” follows the story of emerging artist Chito: his rise to fame and his fight to achieve the coveted American dream.
Herencia de Patrones’ musical and acting presence in “CLIKA” marks their big-screen debut. The film will premiere in select U.S. theaters in January 2026.
