IKKY DEBUTS FIRST HINDI & EDM SINGLE “ISHQ HUA (LOVE HAPPENED)”

Pioneering Punjabi producer Ikky debuts his first ever EDM and Hindi track “Ishq Hua (Love Happened)”. The new release is available on all platforms and digital stores here and the official Amrit Thind directed music video can be streamed on YouTube.

Co-produced by Australian producer Tushar Apte (BTS, Chris Brown, Black Pink, Zayn Malik, Nicki Minaj, Noah Cyrus), “Ishq Hua (Love Happened)” hears Ikky sonically step out of his comfort zone to produce the single he’s always wanted to incorporate in his DJ sets. The single also marks the first time Ikky has released a song in Hindi.

“’Ishq Hua’ is for those who are falling in love; for those who want to break free from societal expectations, allowing them to follow their hearts without concern of judgment or constraints,” Ikky says.

The official music video was captured in the eclectic neighbourhood of Kensington Market in downtown Toronto as well as the infamous annual Canadian National Exhibition. The video was directed by longtime collaborator Amrit Thind (“Baller,” “52 Bars,” “She’s The One”) of Revive Films and starring artist Pablø.

Ikky recently celebrated career milestones as the executive producer of Karan Aujla’s second studio album, Making Memories. The album debuted at #3 on Spotify’s Global Top Album Charts; Ikky hit #4 on YouTube Canada’s Top Artists charts and became the Creative Director for WM Canada & WM India’s new JV label, 91 North Records.
