JOHNNY HUYNH UNVEILS EMOTIONALLY CHARGED NEW SINGLE “LOST MY FAITH”

Rising singer-songwriter Johnny Huynh releases his new single “LOST MY FAITH”. Written during one of the most difficult periods of his life, “LOST MY FAITH” marks one of Johnny’s most personal and vulnerable releases to date. The track was co-written with hitmakers Downtown Trevor Brown and Zaire Koalo (collectively known as The Orphanage, credits: Sabrina Carpenter, Demi Lovato, The Chainsmokers), and Kunfetti (Bebe Rexha, Snoop Dogg, Matoma).
“This song came from one of the hardest relationship struggles I’ve ever been through,” Johnny says of “LOST MY FAITH”. “When I lost this person, it wasn’t just heartbreak — it honestly felt like I lost a piece of my faith in love, in myself, and in the idea that something that good could actually last. The toughest part wasn’t only losing them, but losing the belief that love was supposed to be safe, that it was supposed to hold you up. Writing this song was my way of trying to make sense of how something that once gave me hope ended up leaving me so empty. It’s raw, because it’s not just about missing someone — it’s about questioning everything you thought love was. That’s why this song feels like one of the most personal things I’ve ever written.”
The music video brings the track’s emotional weight of life with stunning visual narrative set in a dimly lit, masquerade-themed warehouse. Johnny appears in formal black-tie attire, surrounded by an air of elegance and secrecy. His co-star — portraying the one who left him haunted — is the only figure wearing a mask, symbolizing mystery, distance, and unresolved pain. The visual contrast between them builds an emotional tension that underscores the song’s themes of loss, confusion, and disillusionment.
The new single follows the breakout success of “LOCK ME OUT,” released earlier this summer. The track has quickly become a fan favorite, racking up over 5.1 million global streams and over 793,000 video views to date.
Seattle-based Vietnamese-American Johnny’s popularity burgeoned on social media, thanks to open-hearted covers of anthems by Billie Eilish and more. His candor, sense of humor, and unfiltered spirit engaged a massive audience across TikTok and Instagram. Johnny successfully translated that viral momentum into his original music, gaining early traction with tracks like “MAKE IT ALRIGHT,” “The One That Was Meant For Me,” and “Cheater.” His releases of “HELL ON ME” and “RED ROSE,” have solidified his upward trajectory, with “SAY” and “LOCK ME OUT” now signaling new heights. Johnny, who gained the title of the ‘voice of a new generation’ from Seattle Magazine, is challenging pop stereotypes with his raw, emotional vulnerability.
