Kumho Tire U.S.A., one of the world’s leading tire manufacturers, proudly announces that KUMHO driver Jack Shanahan secured third place in the 2026 Formula DRIFT PRO Championship, capping off an impressive second season with a runner-up finish at Round 8: Shoreline Showdown in Long Beach, Calif. Racing on KUMHO Ecsta V730 tires, Shanahan entered the championship season finale as the No. 1 qualifier and claimed his fourth podium finish of the year behind the wheel of his E82 BMW.

Following a first-place qualifying performance, Shanahan earned four championship points and a bye through the Top 32 round. After winning three head-to-head battles, he advanced to the finals, where he faced five-time PRO Champion James Deane in a closely contested matchup. While pushing to maintain proximity to Deane’s Mustang, Shanahan spun in Zone 6, ultimately securing a second-place finish at the Shoreline Showdown.
