Saturday night was a big one for Young Miko. The Puerto Rican artist brought her “Do Not Disturb Tour” to Intuit Dome in Inglewood, marking her first sold-out arena show in Los Angeles.
Before she even stepped onstage, it was clear just how much excitement surrounded this moment in her career. With no opening acts, the audience came ready for Miko and Miko only.
Looking around the arena, fans of different ages and backgrounds filled the seats and gathered near the stage. People were already cheering, calling out her name, and eagerly watching for any sign that the show was about to begin. The anticipation was building well before the lights went down.

For concert photographers, the opportunity to capture Miko’s performance offered plenty to look forward to. The lighting, choreography, movement across the stage, and thousands of people singing along made it one of those shows where staying ready with a camera was essential.
Miko gave photographers plenty to capture. She moved around the stage with confidence, showing off her dance moves and letting her personality come through between songs. She had the audience following her every move, whether she was performing directly in front of them or making her way across the stage. Throughout the arena, fans could be seen dancing, singing, and holding their phones high to record their favorite moments.
For all the excitement surrounding the performance, Miko also gave the audience a chance to see a more vulnerable side of her. At one point, she stood onstage, taking in the sight of the sold-out arena, and began to cry. She appeared completely overwhelmed by the love she was receiving. Watching her try to gather herself while fans continued cheering was a genuinely touching moment. This was a milestone she had worked toward, and for those few moments, the weight of that accomplishment was visible on her face. She didn’t need to say much for the audience to understand what she was feeling.

The surprises weren’t over, either. Miko brought out fellow Puerto Rican artist Rauw Alejandro, and the crowd immediately erupted. Fans who were already enjoying themselves found another level of excitement as he joined her onstage. It was a memorable surprise for an audience that had already been treated to an impressive performance.
Photographing a show like this offers a different appreciation for everything happening onstage. From capturing expressions and anticipating movement to watching for those brief moments that might only happen once, there was plenty to keep photographers on their toes throughout the night.
What stood out most was how genuinely happy Miko appeared to be. One minute, she was dancing and having fun with the crowd; the next, she was visibly emotional as she looked out at the thousands of people who had come to support her.
By the end of the night, Young Miko had given Los Angeles a performance full of personality, impressive choreography, an unexpected guest appearance, and emotional moments that felt just as important as the music itself. Her first sold-out arena show in Los Angeles was a major accomplishment and another significant milestone in her career.
