TOMMY RICHMAN DROPS NEW SINGLE & VISUALIZER “MIAMI”
Tommy Richman keeps his summer momentum going with the release of his new single, “MIAMI”, out now via ISO Supremacy/PULSE Records, alongside an accompanying visualizer directed by Bobby Banks. The track follows his recent club hit, “ACTIN UP” Remix featuring Sexyy Red, and arrives on the heels of Tommy’s Paris Fashion Week debut, where he both scored and walked in 424’s Spring/Summer collection runway show. Additionally, Tommy will perform at Osheaga Music and Arts Festival in Montreal on August 2nd, following his recent set at Calgary Stampede Festival, where he gave Canadian fans an early preview of the high energy his live shows bring.
“MIAMI” marks a new chapter in Tommy’s artistry, expanding the lengths of his ability to merge genres as he threads his signature falsetto through the song’s swirling bassline and shimmering 80s synth-pop chords. His refined songwriting shines as he reflects on the unhealthy distrust between himself and a former lover, capturing the bittersweet loneliness that lingers after letting go. With heartfelt lyrics, the groove-heavy funk anthem explores the contrasting joy and pain that come in the wake of a summer heartbreak. “‘MIAMI’ is a song to bring in the summer, a fun uptempo pop record expressing the griefs of feeling numb in every romantic scenario,“ says Tommy.
