The Recording Industry Association of America has revealed that the single ‘Girl Like Me’ by Grammy-award winner Jazmine Sullivan has been certified Platinum. The previously certified Gold duet, features H.E.R. and is off the Grammy award-winning album Heaux Tales. The R&B powerhouse can be caught out on the road this summer performing at D.C.’s Broccoli City, July 15-16. She’ll be swinging through Atlanta for its annual Funk Fest on Friday, August 18; as well as, she’ll be live at AFROPUNK BROOKLYN: CIRCUS OF SOUL on August 26-27. Jazmine will also headline the first night of H.E.R.’s “Lights On Festival”on Saturday, September 16. Now in its third iteration, the festival will be held at the grounds of the iconic Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA.
