YOUTUBE’S LIVESTREAM OF COACHELLA WEEKEND 1 KICKS OFF WITH PERFORMANCES FROM LANA DEL REY, PESO PLUMO, ATEEZ, SABRINA CARPENTER, AND MORE
YouTube’s exclusive livestream of Coachella kicked off on Friday, April 12th allowing fans to experience the excitement of Coachella from anywhere in the world via Coachella’s YouTube Channel or within the YouTube Music app. Fans were treated to a show stopping performance from headliner Lana Del Ray who brought out special guests Billie Eilish for “Ocean Eyes” and “Video Games” and Jon Batiste for “Candy Necklace” and Jack Antonofffor a few songs.
Global music is on full display at this year’s festival, with Friday nightfeaturing French disco pop act L’Impératice, Japanese virtual artist Hatsune Miku, South Korean DJ Peggy Gou, English singer Suki Waterhouse, Swedish DJ Steve Angello and K-pop sensation ATEEZ.
Latin music proved its dominance with electrifying performances from Young Miko, Bizarrap and Peso Pluma, who brought out Becky G. Shakira surprised fans with an appearance during Bizarrap’s set, performing “Music Sessions, Vol. 53” and “La Fuerte,” from her new album while also announcing her upcoming Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.
Sabrina Carpenter turned the stage into a motel and delighted fans with the debut performance of her new song, “Espresso.” In the spirit of her new music video, Sabrina also dropped a new YouTube Short showing her jumping into vacation mode.

YouTube took fans behind-the-scenes with photos of their favorite artists like Chloe, Sid Siriram, Sofi Tukker, The Japanese House, Lance Bass and more, live from their first ever YouTube x Highsnobiety Coachella Photo Studio.
YouTube’s Coachella livestream experience will continue through the weekend and will kick back into gear Friday, April 19th through Sunday, April 21st.
