Aaron Taos Lights Up Beat Kitchen: A Night of Soulful Performances and Fall Vibes

Aaron Taos stops by Beat Kitchen giving Chicago a taste of his latest music. The vibe of the night was even more solidified given that the evening began with a gloomy sky and rain to top it off.

The night began as Sara Geist stepped up on the stage and the crowd gathered around cheering in excitement. The dimly lit room and vibe of the music gave the audience a feel for the fall season that is to come. As well as the talent that Sara Geist portrayed, her bandmates Tariq Shihadah and Todd Aulwurm were a great match as they all performed exceptionally well. With Todd playing the Cello bringing a tasteful melody and Tariq playing the guitar to collectively bring the sound together. Sara goes on to perform a lovely song titled – “Shower wall”, from a tiny desk performance she and her bandmates have up on YouTube.

Up next to the stage was Janet Blackwell with singers Kristina Plumb and Samantha Mayberry. The trio all gracefully touched the ears of the audience with the wonderful vocals each had laid on the microphone. Janet Blackwell plays one of her latest singles titled – “Make Believe”. Janet not only shows the crowd how wonderfully she can sing but also how well she is at playing the bass guitar. The talent that the three women showed during this performance gave the audience at Beat Kitchen an amazing perspective on how well the Chicago music scenery is continuing to thrive. Finally to end the night on a positive note Aaron Taos gracefully enters the stage gathering the crowd even closer together.

Aaron Taos continues to keep the vibes going with an amazing performance as well as expressing his feelings through each song he plays. Aaron has the crowd singing word for word as he performs a song titled- “Voodoo” with its melodic and catchy chorus. Aaron also talks about a recent heartbreak but explains he is staying strong and by keeping the atmosphere positive he plays a song requested by an audience member titled- “Amnesia”. In excitement the gentleman goes word for word as Aaron plays on. Aaron Taos, Janet Blackwell, and Sara Geist were all an amazing act and a perfect sound to bring to Beat Kitchen and to end the night perfectly.
